Paper maché & mixed media

Working with paper maché is so much fun. I use 100% cotton rag paper from Neiman Marcus catalogs, old National Geographic and good old books. The paper is cut & torn. Then it’s clad over wood & wire. Sometimes found objects add strength and meaning. Most pieces incorporate hundreds of thin layers of paper. Some great juxtapositions of color, form and text randomly work together to support the premise of the piece.
