The Crocker-Kingsley Exhibition is very hard to get juried into. So I asked a previous participant what Jurors liked at the time…”the weird or stranger the better”  he said. I had just completed this piece who’s torso was a hollow log & was thinking about what to put in it. So I wrote stuff about my X on Dress pattern paper & made spit wads & tossed them in with some withered roses…This piece got in.
